Mykaela, Bridal Session

I can finally post this one! :)
I'm so glad Mykaela opted to do a bridal session, she made an absolutely stunning bride and her dress was gorgeous. We were able to really highlight the gown and its lovely detail, while capturing timeless bridal portraits for Mykaela. Special thanks to the Moran House in Dresden for letting us take these pictures there!

Some of our brides ask me why they should consider doing a bridal session, and here is what I think. First, it is, for lack of better terms, a dress rehearsal for the wedding day. Most brides do a trial run of their hair and make up before the big day, so it makes sense to get some pictures taken while you're all dressed up! :) They get to see what everything looks like on camera, and if they would like to request any changes for the wedding. Also, it is traditional to have a bridal portrait displayed at the reception. A lot of times the parents of the bride get their favorite image framed and beautifully highlight it at the reception, and afterwards hang it up in their home. I like to think these pictures will be passed down to future generations if any grandchildren come along. I know I would cherish a picture of my grandmother in her wedding dress!
