Amy + Jesse, Engagement

I had such a great time working with Amy and Jesse for their engagement session, and we cannot wait for their wedding to get here. Amy was actually the maid-of-honor at a wedding we photographed last year, but now she is the bride! So fun to work with them and some of their friends again.
It was an incredibly windy day for their engagement photos, but they kept smiling did absolutely great in spite of it. :) Though if it is just as sunny and half as windy on their wedding day, we’ll be okay with that I think! We went to some natural, rustic locations for their session to take advantage of the Fall scenery, and had some beautiful sunset light towards the end. A lovely couple + a pretty day + golden hour light = my favorite type of math equation.

Alaina + Cody, Engagement

Alaina was one of my senior clients, and I was so excited when she told me she was engaged and asked me to be their wedding photographer! One of my favorite things about my job is that I am able to be a part of my clients’ lives as they grow and experience new life events. It is so fun to see some of my first senior clients become wives (so far I haven’t had any senior guy —> grooms, but I am waiting on it!) and such an honor to be asked to be there for another exciting time for them. Alaina seems to have found a great guy in Cody, he is perfectly sweet and kept us laughing throughout the session. :) I’m so happy for these two and cannot wait for their special day in July!

Garrett + Anna, Engagement

Oh these two (and their dogs!) are just the sweetest! I had such a great time working with Anna and Garrett for their engagement session, it made me that much more excited about their wedding next year. We had a hot afternoon for their pictures, but these two kept smiles on their faces and didn’t let the heat get to them. :) And I was so happy they brought their dogs for a few pictures, too! If you’ve been around here for very long, you know I am always up for fur babies being a part of the session. It’s a bit hard for me not to put them in every picture, though. ;)

Congratulations, Anna and Garrett!
