For a typical portrait session, such as seniors, families, or engagements, we set aside an average of one- two hours of shooting time, my traveling to a location within a thirty mile radius of my home in Union City, TN (otherwise I may charge a small traveling fee), and a viewing session that usually takes place about three weeks after the photoshoot. These portrait sessions are $75, which is due at booking. Prints and products may be purchased a la carte, and I would be more than happy to send a pricelist to you at your request! There is a $200 minimum order requirement.
For events or weddings please fill out the form on my contact page and I will get back with you as soon as possible! Our wedding packages start at $1500.
I am a location photographer, which means I do not have a studio and instead do everything on-location. Where we go depends on what fits your style and tastes best. Some people love the rustic, country locations with barns, fields, and trees. Other people like the urban scenes, with brick and concrete textures like you’d see walking around a quaint downtown or even in a larger city. Once you describe to me what you like best, we can narrow down a location– even if it’s not one I’ve described above. I’m always open to hearing your ideas! The more details you can give me, the better.
Our newborn sessions are no exception -- we usually do those in our clients' homes! This way, parents don't have to get their babies out and about, and I am able to use the natural setting of their home for the background. I do bring a small studio set up for just the baby, but any family pictures are taken around the house.
My favorite times to shoot are earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon, so we can catch that beautiful, soft light! I will always do my best to work around your schedule, though, and the schedule of any little ones who may be happiest right after nap time.
The Ordering Session
I want to make everything as easy and stress-free as possible for you, so that is why I do ordering sessions with my clients. After the photoshoot, I will get to work on your photos, doing my best to make sure they look as good as possible. Then we’ll get together about three weeks later, usually at the local coffee shop, and I will bring your pictures on a slideshow and we’ll narrow down your favorites. I’ll also bring samples of what I offer so you can see what it’ll be like before you order anything. I’ll keep up with all the image numbers and lists, as well as any editing requests, so you don’t have to do anything but pick up your order when it is ready!
