Sweet child of mine
The birth of a child, whether your first or your fifth, is such an exciting, precious time! I try to get newborns in within ten days of birth, so most of the little ones pictured below are brand new to the world around them. Their fingers and toes are still so tiny, and they love being curled up, cozy, and asleep.
Some of the pictures you’ll see here are from my studio era, when we lived in Tennessee. :) And though I primarily do in-home newborn sessions now, we can definitely still get beautiful, heirloom quality pictures without a studio— sometimes we even take them outdoors (weather permitting!) I love the coziness of an in-home session, and a lot of my clients love the comfort of being in their own home as well. The pictures take on a more lifestyle feel, rather than being super posed. Every session I do is as unique as the family I photograph!
You can find me hauling my newborn props to houses and neighborhoods all around the Lake Norman area, making beautiful memories for everyone from Charlotte to Statesville!
