Brooke + Joseph, Engagement

Oh, these two were so much fun to work with! We had such a pretty morning for their engagement photos, from the sweet sunshine in the sky, to the trees just starting to bud for Spring. Brooke & Joseph wanted to take a few pictures at a more rustic location, then they requested going to UTM for the rest of their session. The campus at Martin holds a special place in their hearts, as they both earned their degrees there and have lots of memories on those grounds. While we walked in between pictures, we talked about how they met in high school, about how they have been together for several years now, and about their future plans after they say I Do this fall.  It is going to be such an exciting, eventful year for them, and I'm so happy to capture a part of it! 
 

Madi + Caleb, Winter Engagement

Madi and Caleb had a Spring engagement session, but they are getting married this December so they wanted to do a Winter engagement session as well. :) Downtown Martin had their Christmas decorations up, and they provided such lovely backgrounds for the first half of their pictures! It was such a cold day, they grabbed some hot beverages on our way to the second location to get a little warmer. Hopefully for their wedding we'll have a little less wind and a little more sun! :) 

Jacob + Brianna, Engagement Session

These two are getting married this Summer, and we are so excited to be a part of their wedding! I'm going to bet we will be wishing for the cool weather we had at their engagement session when August rolls around, though. ;) We spoke through chattering teeth as we took pictures that December afternoon, talking about their upcoming graduations from college, and plans after they graduate. They retold the story of how Jacob proposed to Brianna last year at a lovely natural park in East Tennessee, and how they kept looking for this rock formation that was a highlight of the park, and were starting to get frustrated... until they realized they were standing right there with it. Turns out, it is a bigger formation than they had expected! :) Jacob surprised Brianna by proposing there, even catching the whole thing on video himself. Such a sweet, fun engagement story!
