Baby Jaxon, 7 Month Session

Though they have moved a few hours away since little Scarlett was born, this sweet family came back to see me for Jaxon’s milestone session and I felt so honored that they would continue to use me as their photographer! I know it’s not easy to plan out of town trips with two little ones and busy schedules. :)
It was a bit chilly the morning of this session so we worked quickly to get a lot of pictures in a little bit of time! We got some sweet smiles and Jaxon and Scarlett got lots of cuddles, partly to keep everyone a bit warmer. Towards the end of the session, their cousins joined in for a picture of all four of them together. I feel like that is one picture they need to recreate when they get older, even though Matthew may find it a bit harder to hold Jaxon in his lap then. ;) So fun to see these four kiddos all together— I’ve done pictures for both families so it was special for me, as it was for them!

Patel Family + Newborn

The Patel family had a sweet new addition last Fall- a beautiful baby boy! He was close to a month old when we did this session, so a little older than my typical newborn, but he slept deeply enough that we were able to get some curly poses before he woke up and showed off those gorgeous eyes again. :) He is absolutely precious! This family is in love with him, especially his big sister, and it was such a joy getting to capture these special memories for them.

Ashley + Hunter, Engagement

We had a beautiful Fall day for Ashley & Hunter’s engagement session! Our first stop was downtown Paris, TN, where we strolled around on the sidewalks and stopped at any place that caught our eye. I love the character in these antique buildings, from the churches to the little boutiques and flower shop. They made such a good background for the first half of this engagement session!
Our second location was a beautiful family farm where they hope to build their dream home someday. We drove through the cow pasture with their sweet pup June in the back, and took a few pictures with June until she decided to take a cold swim in the pond. Then she was done with pictures. ;) We finished up as the sun was setting and had gorgeous golden light for the last few photos. Best way to end a session, if you ask me!

Congratulations, Ashley & Hunter! Can’t wait to be a part of your wedding this Fall!
