Carmen + Landon, Engagement Session

When Carmen asked me about taking some engagement photos for her at her tiny house, I excitedly said YES! I love in-home lifestyle sessions, and the fact that this was a tiny home just made it even better.

The day of the session arrived and we had some beautiful sunshine to give us that gorgeous natural light inside and out. We got some sweet photos of Carmen and Landon inside the home cuddling with their adorable pup Molly and drinking some hot chocolate, and it was fun getting the grand tour and seeing all the creative solutions for living in this small space. I felt like I was in an episode on HGTV! haha

We ended the session at another location where we used the antique white barn and the lovely scenery that was just starting to bud and bloom with the Spring weather. These two had warned me they were awkward in front of the camera, but they were so great to work with and really were naturals! We got some sweet, sweet photos and I left the session with a smile on my face. It was a good day. :)

Congratulations you two!

Baby Aiden, Newborn Session

This sweet family welcomed another baby boy to their home this Spring! Baby Aiden was such a little sweetheart, and he did so well for his session. He slept so deeply that even when big brother got tickled and let out a giggle or two, Aiden wasn’t phased at all. :) I have a feeling he is a bit used to hearing those giggles around the house!
Though I photographed Emily and Brent’s wedding several years ago, I actually knew Emily years before that, back when we were in the same youth group at church together. It’s so fun to see her now as a wonderful wife and momma! It’s crazy to think of how much life has changed since our teen years. Who’d have thought that about ten years later I’d be photographing her sweet little family?

Welcome to the world baby Aiden!

Macy, Senior Class of 2019

Macy was such a joy to work with for her senior pictures! She was not only about to graduate high school, but she was also finishing up some college courses she had been taking as well. This is one smart young lady! Though she wouldn’t have said so herself, her grandmother was proud to tell me all about Macy’s achievements and how she was thriving in her classes. Macy has plans to go into the medical field, and let me tell you, she is exactly the kind of person you’d want to be taking care of you if you were to be in the hospital! She is both kind and intelligent, and has such a big heart. I have a feeling this girl will go far and do great things!

Thanks so much for choosing me as your senior photographer, Macy! Congratulations on your graduation!
