Hollon- One Year

hollon.jpg

About this time last year I was meeting this sweet little family for the first time for Hollon's newborn session, and have since fallen in love with them! From Hollon's sweet little smiles, to big brother Thomas's grins and mischievousness, to their proud parents who have been so great to work with! I've loved getting to know them all, they have been such an inspiration to me. I love seeing Thomas and Hollon's parents teach them about Jesus, about loving each other and being respectful, while still letting Thomas be silly and encouraging big imaginations.Kasey has been the dream client, she has fabulous tastes in photography and it is such a compliment that she chose me to document Hollon's first year. :) She also knew how much I loved coffee, so she made a cup for me at one of our ordering sessions! I'm always telling her how much I love her home and how she has decorated it, and she is quick to tell me where to find the best deals and to give me any tips. If she ever becomes an interior decorator, I may have to give her a call!

Thank you for letting me be your photographer this year, and for being such sweet clients-- I hope you love these pictures!

Baby Matthew- Newborn

Matthew was such a sweet little one to work with, he slept so well and spoiled us by doing the poses perfectly! He was born about a month ago and made Caleb and Brittany brand new, proud parents. :) You can tell just by looking at them that they are so in love with their new little son-- and no wonder! He's so precious. Caleb and his dad are both farmers, so thankfully we had a cooler morning and were able to take some pictures out by the field before the rain came. I love incorporating something that makes it "them", and I think the field pictures are my favorite from the session because it does just that. :) Maybe Matthew will grow up riding tractors and caring for the fields like his daddy?

Brothers, sisters, and cousins

A few weeks ago I got to do a session with these four children and had a blast doing it! We ran around taking pictures of each set of siblings, then of course got both sets together since everyone needs photos with their cousins. :) In between the pictures the kids got to meet the chickens and cats and ducks that wonder around this little farm, which is one of my favorite locations to go to. I think it brings out the kid in all of us! _MG_5264 (1) copy

I know her momma will probably like the smiling version better, but goodness-- she pulls off that serious face so well!

I love that his mustache didn't quite make it beneath his nose.... :)

We had to get some of just the girls, too!
