Westfalia Farms

I was so excited when my friends at Westfalia Farms welcomed me back for another photo session to show off their beautiful location and take some updated family + staff photos. It seems like it was just a few weeks ago we did this session, but it was actually quite a while ago. Since then, they have added even more amenities and beautiful landscaping, so if you think this venue is lovely in these pictures, be sure to check out their Facebook/Instagram feed to see all their amazing updates. I’ve loved following their journey as they’ve opened this wedding and event venue and am so happy to see it blossom and succeed! If you are looking for a venue for your upcoming business retreat or celebration, be sure to check them out. You’d be in very good hands with Westfalia!

Swamp Creek Co.

I had such a fun time creating these images for Swamp Creek Co., a local business specializing in authentic outdoor apparel and some really amazing accessories you'll want to take with you for your next adventure. From their t-shirts to their handcrafted leather koozies, I was so impressed with the quality and design of these products!
When they called me about taking these photos, we decided to go a more lifestyle direction that would reflect the feel of their fun, outdoorsy brand. We met at the lake with all the models, a few I have had the pleasure of working with before, and had lots of laughs in-between (and during!) the pictures. :) I think we nailed the look we were going for, and the pictures were up on their website and social media in time for their official launch!
Since the session, they have been working on adding a few more products to their shop, including a coffee mug I may have to see about purchasing for my collection. ;) Pair that with a leather koozie for Jimmy, and I think those would be perfect stocking stuffers for Christmas in a few months! (Is it bad to buy your own stocking stuffer?)

Congratulations on your launch, Swamp Creek Co.! We're so excited to see your business taking off!

Westfalia Farms- Wedding & Corporate Retreat Venue

As a wedding photographer I know how big a part location plays on a wedding day. Most of our couples want somewhere they can use rain or shine, can host the whole ceremony and reception, and have pretty backgrounds from the time the bride gets into her dress to the final dance. I would say that Westfalia Farms in Paris, Tennessee, checks off everything a couple could ask for, and even things they may not think about. From their convenient location just a few minutes from the main road, to their beautiful views you can see from inside and out, to the practical amenities in the house-- they have really thought of everything!
Not pictured here is the barn that is currently being built on the farm. It should be ready in a few months, and I'm so excited to see it! It will be perfect for receptions especially, but will be a good inside alternative for a ceremony if the couple wants an indoor location or in case of rainy weather.
This is also a great location for anyone who needs a space for a corporate retreat! The owners would love to talk with you more about what this venue offers.

You can find Westfalia Farms on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/WestfaliaFarmsParisTN/
And on Instagram @WestfaliaFarms
Or check out their website at www.westfaliafarms.com

(By the way, I am not being paid to say any of this. ;) I just love seeing the thoughtfulness and creativity they have put into this venue, and hope we get to photograph a wedding there in the next year or so!)
