Families & Little Ones

Baby Logan, One Year Session

Logan is One Year Old!

This little one has been such a joy to work with over the past year! He is a tiny miracle walking around, and you can just see the love on his parent's faces every time they look at him.
For this last session in his Grow-With-Me package, Logan's parents asked if we could take some pictures at their family's farm. Logan had so much fun riding in his little red wagon, exploring the barns, and feeling the grass beneath his feet like a country boy. :) We only had a few seconds for pictures when they sat him down because he wanted to go and find more things to see! One-year-olds can be more work to chase around, but that is one of my favorite ages to photograph because you can see their personality starting to develop and their independence grow. I'm sure he will be running around those hills and climbing those trees before long!

It has been so much fun being your first photographer Logan! Thank you for letting me capture this first year!

Baby Benjamin, One Year Session

Little Benjamin is a year old!
Seems like just yesterday I was taking newborn pictures of this sweet baby boy, and now he is walking around and giggling and exploring. :) Benjamin did such a great job at his one year session and he had us laughing along with him-- especially during the cake smash! He decided slapping his hand on the cake and watching it go everywhere was tons of fun, so he did that until the cake was about gone. When they end up with more cake on them than what is on the plate, you know it has been a good birthday session!

Happy one year Benjamin! I hope it only gets more fun from here!

Baby Esau, Six Month Session

Our little nephew Esau at six months old! It was actually a chilly day when we did this session, even though the rest of the week had been nice and toasty, so his bath time pictures were really fast. :) He kept looking at us like we were crazy for that one! But he did give us some sweet smiles the rest of the session. I'm amazed at how fast he has grown up, it doesn't feel like he should be sitting up and crawling around now!
(Our little niece Blakely joined him at the end for the pumpkin pictures!)
