Baby Sailor, One Year Session

Oh this baby girl is just so precious! Her session was my last one of 2016, right before Christmas, so of course we had to get some pictures in front of the Christmas tree. :)
Sailor may have had the sniffles from this crazy Tennessee weather, but you can't tell from her sweet smiles and giggles we got at this session! Mom and Dad making silly noises and faces at her behind me helped for sure, but I think her smash cake helped a bit as well. ;) You can't go wrong with a little sugar and a whole lot of mess! What better way to ring in her first birthday?

Happy first birthday baby Sailor! It has been a joy being your photographer!

Baby Asher, Newborn Session

This sweet baby boy was born just in time for his first Christmas! There was some snow on the ground when I took his newborn photos, maybe next December he'll be able to run and play in it if we get some more snow flakes. :)
Asher had a few special visitors while I was at their home for this session, so we let his grandparents jump in for a few pictures with him. I love that we were able to take a few with them, because I have snapshots of when I was a baby being held by my grandparents and those pictures are so special to me. I hope he loves these images when he gets older, too!

Welcome to the world, baby Asher!

The Ogg Family

I was asked to take pictures of this sweet family, and we were finally able to get everyone's schedule to line up this winter! :) It was a chilly morning but they all were such troopers and smiled in spite of the cold. Though I won't guarantee there were no shivers!
I love big family sessions because the pictures taken will be so special not only to the adults now, but also to the little ones as they grow up. I love that they will have a photographic representation of their family tree. :)
