While I was in Arkansas for my friend Christa's newborn session, I was able to take pictures for her sister, Sarah, and her little family as well! Sarah is like another big sister to me, and her husband Shady fits right in with our bunch. They have the sweetest baby girl, Alex, who was about seven months at the time, and are expecting another little one now! So they will have both hands full later this year. :) I'm sure Alex will love having a little brother or sister!
Oh my heart! <3 This blog was so hard for me to put together, because I have a little emotional bias when it comes to these images. It was so hard to narrow these down to just a few!
These "clients" are some dear friends of ours, Christa and I grew up together and have been friends our whole lives. From birthday parties, to graduations, to weddings, we have celebrated lots of special moments together, and now I'm excited to be able to celebrate the birth of their second baby, sweet Ava. I drove over to Arkansas to do this session for them (really, I just needed an excuse to visit!) and we spent the day talking and catching up in between pictures. Friends like these are one in a million-- I'm so grateful for Christa and Clint! Their little ones couldn't ask for better parents.

Sweet Macon did such a good job at his newborn session! I had such a great time working with him and his little family. Though I think he was right at two weeks old when we did his session, he was still so tiny. :) You can tell he is adored by his mom and dad just by the way they look at him-- and it is easy to see why! He couldn't be any cuter.
