Families & Little Ones

Ogden Family- Extended Family Session

This sweet family all got together for a beautiful, extended family session! It was a little warm that afternoon, but I was thankful they all stuck with me for these pictures. :) (I saw a few of them at Sonic right after the session, we had the same idea for cooling off!)
I feel the importance of photography when whole families get together, because we are able to document multiple generations all at once! I always imagine the youngest ones pictured in several years, showing the group photos to their kids-- pointing at all the faces and talking about sweet memories with each member. I hope they giggle about how much everyone has changed, and smile when they see their family legacy of love and togetherness. That's what matters most, after all! <3

Baby Hayes, Newborn Session

This sweet boy may have set a record for birth weight among the newborns I have worked with! He was a healthy 10 pound baby-- Already an overachiever and barely out of the womb! :)
I went to their home in Nashville for this sweet session, and baby Hayes did such a good job for his pictures. After he had a few cuddles with his mom and dad we focused on just him and those precious newborn features. Though he was awake at first, he was happy and content so I was able to get a few pictures of those striking baby blue eyes. Absolutely precious! We ended the session with him cuddled in the tiny rocking chair that has been in their family for a few generations now. Maybe it will be passed down to his children someday. :)
Welcome to the world baby Hayes!

Baby Emmett, Three Month Session

Emmett is such a cutie, and he did a great job at his three month session! He was pushing up on his belly like a champ and loved grabbing his little toes. <3 I'm sure he can't wait to be able to walk and crawl because he was sure concentrating on all there was to see outside! Just another session or two and he'll be at that stage though, and he'll be exploring everything within reach. :)
