Sweet Wyatt is a one-year-old!
I have so enjoyed watching Wyatt grow over the past year, from the little red-headed baby to this walking, talking one-year-old! He got to do so many fun things at this session-- take a balloon ride (with the help of some photoshop magic), eat lots of cake, and run off a bit of that energy with some of his favorite people. :) If every session were like that, I think everyone would love getting their picture taken!
Happy first birthday Wyatt! I hope it was a wonderful year!
Tohn Family, Fall/Christmas Mini Session Preview
We couldn't be more excited about our Fall/Christmas mini sessions this October, especially since I had such a fun time with this preview session! The Tohns were a wonderful family to work with, we all had some laughs, they had some cuddles, and even started a tickle fight or two. :) I love that their sweet puppy even jumped in a few of the pictures! We had the perfect afternoon for their session, a surprisingly cool summer day and beautiful sunshine. Though we'll have a few more yellow leaves next month for our mini sessions, it definitely felt like Fall that day.
My inspiration for these sessions was a very simple, shabby-chic look. Something Joanna Gaines might like. :) The props are minimal and the location is natural, because I wanted to keep the focus where it should be-- on my clients!
(We are all booked up for our mini sessions this year, and do not have any more portrait session openings until December. I'd love to schedule a winter session though with anyone who doesn't want to miss out on the fun!)
Baby Finlee Cate, One Year Session
We had to do two takes for this session, because being awakened from a nap is no fun, and I don't think I would want my picture taken then either. ;) But no worries, as our second attempt went great! Sweet Finlee Cate loved seeing the sights at Discovery Park, and she and her big sister loved all the flowers that were blooming. Finlee showed us some of her standing skills and gave us some sweet smiles! She has had quite a first year, but she has shown lots of strength and resilience. She is someone special, that is certain! <3
Happy first year sweet Finlee Cate!
