Baby Woods, One Year Session

Baby Woods is a year old! 
This sweet boy had so much fun for his first birthday session! He went on a little balloon ride, he read his favorite book (the theme for his first birthday party), he got to smash and eat his cake, and finally ended with splashing in the bathtub in the middle of his back yard! :) He was having so much fun, I don't think he was ready for his pictures to be over! I think he would have splashed and splashed in that little bath tub all day if we had let him. :) 
It has been such a pleasure working with Woods and his sweet family over the past year, and seeing him grow up a little more with each milestone! Happy first birthday baby Woods!  

Baby Esau, One Year(ish) Session

I can't believe how fast our sweet nephew Esau has grown! We have been planning his one year session since his birthday in March, but schedules and weather and ideas never seemed to quite align until September rolled around. :) But really, all that matters is that we got to capture his sweet little face at this fun time in his life! He got to show off his walking skills, that sweet mischievous smile, and even those teeth in that adorable grin of his! And he got to cuddle with his mom and dad, which may have been his favorite part of the session. :) 

Happy first year baby Esau! Uncle Jimmy and I love you! 

Extended Family Session, Soleil Garden Center

We had a small window of time when this whole group could get together, and of course the afternoon we had planned for their session had a good chance of rain! Thankfully, Soleil Garden Center was kind enough to let us use their beautiful grounds for these pictures-- including the covered area where the rain wouldn't touch us. We didn't end up having rain at the time of our session, but especially when it comes to extended family sessions like this with several people, it is always better to be safe than to be sorry! :) And Soleil is lovely, rain or shine.
