Families & Little Ones

Evy Jaymes, Fresh 48 Session

This baby girl arrived at the end of June, and we couldn't be more in love with her! Evy Jaymes is one of three nieces for us now, so we are tempted to buy stock in all things bows and Barbies. :) She has a big brother Esau, who adores her but doesn't quite understand why she can't play with him yet. Just you wait, big guy... I have a feeling this girl will inherit a bit of the spunk and playfulness of the two people she is named after, and will be chasing her big brother around as soon as her legs can carry her.
I was more than happy to oblige when I was asked to come to the hospital and photograph the first time Esau met his baby sister. I'll let you scroll down to see his reaction, but suffice it to say that these pictures warm my heart and bring a smile to my face every time I see them! Such sweet babies and such a wonderful family to be a part of.

Welcome to the world, Evy Jaymes! We're so happy you're here. <3

Asher & Family, Four Year Session

I've had so much working with this family ever since Asher was turning one, and now he is a big four-year-old! This kid is just the coolest around, with his sunglasses and fun style. :) ( Hashtag #modelstatus) I love that we see so much of his personality in his pictures! His mom always brings out a few of his favorite toys and accessories, and I just love incorporating those things into his sessions. This year he was learning how to whistle, figuring out how to hold up only four fingers, loves popcorn, and is very into robots. I think we got all of those things captured, as well as some "regular" photos, too. :)
Happy Birthday Asher! I hope year #4 is the best yet!

Kennedy Family, Summer Session

I worked with this sweet family last year for little Brooks' newborn pictures, but since he has changed a bit since then, it was time for some updated photos!
It was hot the morning of this session (which is a theme for June in Tennessee) but we got some adorable smiles and beautiful pictures regardless. The kids giggled as they chased each other around, attempted a game of ring-around-the-rosy, and laughed during tickle time. Because it was so hot, we got a lot of pictures in just 45 minutes or so, to avoid any meltdowns-- both figuratively and literally. ;) But with a family this precious, it doesn't take a lot of time to get some sweet pictures for them.

Thanks so much for coming back to see me, Kennedy family! It was wonderful seeing you all again!
