Baby Knox, One Year Session

I photographed Alison and Bobby’s engagement session and wedding a few years ago, and was so excited when she asked me to take pictures of them with their sweet baby boy last year for his first birthday! Knox was such a fun little guy to work with, he was on the move and ready to explore everything. We all got a good workout at this session but it was worth it to get these sweet photos! I love that we were able to capture his playful, mischievous spirit in his expressions. Of course we had to get some pictures with a TN Volunteers football theme before the session was over. :) With a name like Knox, what else would you expect? We ended the session with a cake smash, but he wasn’t too thrilled to have messy hands so their dog Yadi was happy to step in and help him with that. ;)

Baby Baylor, One Year Session

I can’t believe how quickly the time flew for Baylor’s first year! It seemed we did her newborn session, and then a few months later she was walking around at her one year session, exploring everything. :) She has been a joy to work with and she has stolen the hearts of everyone who sees her photos. For her final milestone session, she showed off how she could walk like a pro, could clap her hands, and when she was about done with pictures, she lied down on the blanket like she was just going to take a nap right there in the middle of the yard. 😅 We all had to giggle about that, though I have to say, it wouldn’t have been a bad place for a nap at all!

Baby Sarah, Newborn Session

I had such a great time working with this little family for Sarah’s newborn session! She was cute as a button and let us get lots of sweet pictures while she slept. :) Her parents were just in love with her, and her big brother was fascinated by this tiny human he now shared a home with. I think he would have been a bit more excited if she had been dressed as Buzz Lightyear, but that wouldn’t have gone quite as well with her sweet nursery decor. ;) Such a precious little session, and such an adorable little one to welcome into their family!
