We did Conley Jane’s nine month session at her grandparents’ house, which was extra special because this is also where her mom and dad got married. :) The antique wooden wagon and the tree in the background at the end were some details that were included in their wedding, so it was fun to incorporate them into these pictures, too!
Though this sweet girl wasn’t feeling her best that morning due to some new teeth coming in, she smiled and gave us some adorable grins anyways! I’m sure after we were done with the session she got lots of extra cuddles and maybe a good nap or two. Teething sure isn’t fun, but having not just her mom and dad love on her but also her grandparents can make it better! <3
Baby Merritt, Six Month Session
Little Merritt was the happiest baby for his six month session! Just look at all his sweet smiles. :) He did such a good job for these milestone pictures, showing us how he could sit up on his own and how he loved to play with his feet while on his back. Of course he loved cuddling with his mom and dad, but when they put him down he also loved laughing at their silly songs and gestures that were so helpful in bringing out his smiles and giggles. He is the center of their world, and they are the center of his as well!
Baby Shade, One Year Session
Shade was a few months over a year old for this session, but we’ll go ahead and call it his one year photo shoot anyways. :)
This family was such a joy to work with on this super windy, summer day! We took these pictures at Shade’s grandad’s house, where he was right at home drinking from the water hose and chasing down the horses. He is a country boy, through and through, already. :) I love that we got to take these at a place that is dear to their hearts, as that will make looking back at these photos even more special as he grows up.
Chasing Shade around the farm gave me a good workout, but it was definitely worth it! I’m glad we got to capture some of his sweet personality as well as some of the mischievousness that I think most little guys his age possess (and I don’t think they ever grow out of, haha). Such a fun session and such a wonderful family to work with!
Happy first year, Shade!
