Meredith & Luke, Spring Session

It was time for some updated photos of this brother and sister since Luke was a whole year old, and we had the loveliest afternoon for their session! The sun was shining, the grass was green, and we caught it at just the perfect time to get the red clover at its peak. After being off for maternity leave and then staying home an extra month because we were still unsure about Covid-19, it felt wonderful to be back behind the camera again and to have such a fun session with which to start back! These sweet faces and bright smiles just make my heart happy. :)

Parks Family/One Year Session

I had so much fun working with this family for John Ira’s first year of milestone sessions! We had a cool but sunny day for his one year pictures, and we all bundled up and braved the cold for a few photos outside before moving inside for the last few. I was so glad we were able to get some with their horses, because I know they are a big part of this family’s lives! :) As you can see, the kiddos were pretty happy being around their big ol’ fur babies. Though I don’t think anyone complained when we got to thaw out inside! ;)

Baby Parker, Nine Month Session

It was a cold windy day for Parker’s nine month session, so we asked my friends at Waddell Place in McKenzie if we could use their location for some pictures shielded from the elements, and they said yes! Though we were still a bit chilly in the open chapel, we were able to get some beautiful family pictures in the gorgeous natural light before we went inside for some pictures of just Parker. I brought the same little background we used at his big sister’s nine month session a few years back, and we got a similar feel for Parker’s pictures. :) I guess I need to hold onto these props, because in about nine months we’ll need them again for their next little one who is due soon!
