Westfalia Farms

I was so excited when my friends at Westfalia Farms welcomed me back for another photo session to show off their beautiful location and take some updated family + staff photos. It seems like it was just a few weeks ago we did this session, but it was actually quite a while ago. Since then, they have added even more amenities and beautiful landscaping, so if you think this venue is lovely in these pictures, be sure to check out their Facebook/Instagram feed to see all their amazing updates. I’ve loved following their journey as they’ve opened this wedding and event venue and am so happy to see it blossom and succeed! If you are looking for a venue for your upcoming business retreat or celebration, be sure to check them out. You’d be in very good hands with Westfalia!

Becky + Eric, Winter Wedding

The one thing you can expect with this Tennessee weather is that there really is no predicting it— you can only rely on a forecast so much! And the day of Eric and Becky’s wedding was no exception. Storms blew through that morning, giving way to a steady rain that lasted past noon. Then we had a little break in the rain for an hour or two, and just as we were getting comfortable, the strong winds came back and brought a cold chill to the air and more raindrops.

But we could not have been working with a better bride and groom for this crazy weather day! Through all the uncertainty and changing of plans, Becky and Eric had smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts. They met each little setback with cheerfulness and didn’t let anything put a damper on this special day. I’m sure there is a metaphor in there for marriage and love and such, and it is one that would describe these two and their relationship well. I have a feeling no matter what this crazy, unpredictable life throws at them, at the end of the day they will be walking hand-in-hand and happy to be by each others’ sides.

Becky and Eric, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your sweet, sweet day! It was such a joy working with you all! May you have many beautiful, sunny days ahead of you.

Taylor + Rance, Wedding

The church his family has attended for years.
A beautiful bride, hugged by her momma and described as the best daughter anyone could ask for.
A groom, who smiles biggest when clasping hands with his girl. ❤️
Best friends and family all dressed up and filling the church pews.
Violin, piano, and trumpet plays.
The doors open, the audience rises.
She walks in, he meets her at the alter.
Promises are spoken, they kiss, everyone claps and cheers.
A limo ride, another kiss or two, and they join their friends again.
Cue the dancing, the cake cutting, and the band.
Hugs and congratulations in between.
Rocky Top, arms in the air, and a full dance floor.
Twirls and toasts and smiles on faces.
Throw the bouquet, catch the garter.
A sparkler is lit, and then another, and another.
Run in between the long line of cheers and into the rest of their lives together,
as Husband and Wife forever.
