Blog Catch-Up: Maternity Sessions

Catch-Up Post #5!

I don’t do a ton of maternity sessions, but I really love them. When I was pregnant with James I used a tripod and a remote trigger to take my own pictures in our home, which I don’t necessarily recommend to any other pregnant mommas out there. 😅 It probably would have been humorous to see that whole process go down with my 3rd trimester belly! But I’m so glad I got those pictures because that time was oh so special. I’ll never forget what a gift it was!

Blog Catch-Up: Newborn Sessions

Catch-Up Post #4!

Do newborn pictures really need words to go along with them? If I were you, I wouldn’t even read this part. I’d skip straight to the sweet faces you’ll see when you scroll down. :)

Some of these were taken in the studio, and the others were taken in my clients’ homes for a more lifestyle feel. I have been happy to offer both options to my clients and it’s been fun to see who chooses what for their session!

Blog Catch-Up: Studio Family & Kiddo Sessions

Catch-Up Post #3

Though most of my studio sessions have been newborns, when the weather wouldn’t cooperate it was just wonderful having my own indoor, temperature-controlled space to shoot in! So many sweet faces have come to see me in the studio. I still prefer to shoot outside pictures (when it’s not in the super cold or super hot temps) but I have had so much fun creating these precious, simple setups. Some of my favorite pictures from all of 2021 are in this bunch. :)
